Educational Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is pretty basic. I believe it is important to have an environment that encourages students to learn and develop in and out of the classroom, to create a positive learning environment in good and bad times. I will mold a group of individuals to communicate, to be responsible, and to hold themselves accountable.The student needs to be given the opportunity to develop his/her skill level in a structured learning environment that constantly challenges the student while providing both encouragement and support.

Personal

I am the World History Teacher at Crawford County High School. I am also the Defensive Coordinator for the Football team, and the Head Girls Basketball Coach. I am a graduate of Crawford County High School, class of 2003. I have been married to my beautiful wife Katie for 10 years, who teaches at Crawford County Elementary School. We have 3 wonderful children, Kendall, Kennedy, and Konnor. I am excited about the upcoming school year, and I look forward to being your teacher! Go Eagles!
