Teacher Biography
Educational Philosophy:
I believe that all of our students can learn, grow, and become productive members of the community. While each child may learn in a different way and at a different pace, they all have the potential to be successful. I have known since I was in the first grade that I wanted to be a teacher, so each day here with my students is what I am most passionate about. Giving the time and effort to know, care for, and carefully plan the education of young people is an incredibly rewarding experience.

Personal Biography:
I was born in Macon, Georgia, and lived there most of my life. I have also lived in Atlanta, Georgia, and San Francisco, California. I have been to Mexico and El Salvador, as well. I now live in Houston County with my husband and our two younger children. I am always at either school or taking care of my home and family. Any of my former or current students can tell you that I have fun with whatever I am doing, especially teaching! He estudiado el español 25 años, empezando en la preparatoria. La importancia de ser bilingüe y la riqueza del lenguaje y la cultura de la gente hispanohablante son lo que intento compartir con mis estudiantes cada año.
